I recently started grad school and was in search of self care options as advised by my faculty mentor. I had decided to invest in my own peace and be proactive -for body and spirit. A friend referred me to Royal Retreat Spa (the name alone sounded like it would meet the standard I was in search of.) If I could give 10 stars, I would! Emily's services and attention to my needs went above and beyond my expectation. I felt pampered and relaxed and ready take on the upcoming week of homework! I've found my secret weapon to manage stress as I forge ahead with school. Bonus! The facial really motivated some beautiful lifestyle changes. Royal Retreat Spa is my new favorite addiction!

Emily has been doing my waxing for over a year now and always does an amazing job! She's quick and painless and even gets out stubborn ingrowns. Emily always has great product recommendations and offers a great variety of services. Very friendly and personable, highly recommended!!!

Emily is my number one waxing person I go to! She is so sweet, caring, and gentle with me and her other clients. I have been to many other aestheticians around San Diego but she has the best experience. She is very knowledgeable about the skin and has a great waxing technique. She has done work on my eyebrows, my upper lip, facial area, and my private areas! She always does such a great job!

What a wonderful experience. Emily's facials are so relaxing. I always feel rejuvenated after. She truly has a magical touch. My waxing appointment went very well, too. She is very professional and welcoming. The salon is really nice inside and super clean. I'll definitely go back again!
